Bostick writes about death threats

Packers sign first-round pick

Brandon Bostick wrote a column for Sports Illustrated’s MMQB.com Thursday. In it, the former Packers tight end wrote that he received countless death threats from fans following the Green Bay’s loss to Seattle in this year’s NFC Championship game. Bostick even went as far to say “I regret ever jumping for the ball.”

Bostick was a key player in the Seahawks recovering an onside kick late in the game against the Packers. Bostick was assigned to block on the play. Instead, he tried to catch the ball, didn’t, and the ball was recovered by Seattle. Green Bay went on to lose the game in overtime.

The Packers released Bostick earlier this month.
