Body of missing swimmer found in Lake Michigan
Man disappeared Sunday
PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. — Divers have recovered the body of a missing Port Washington teenager from Lake Michigan.
Police said Port Washington Fire Department divers recovered the body of 15-year-old Tyler Buczek from the lake about noon Thursday.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that his body was found about 200 yards from shore, near the city’s water treatment plant, in water 10 to 12 feet deep.
Buczek was swimming with friends near the plant when he disappeared Sunday.
Port Washington is about 25 miles north of Milwaukee.
