Bloody man found on Madison’s north side says he was hit by car, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A bloody man found on Madison’s north side Monday afternoon said he was hit by a car, but he didn’t remember where, police said.
Madison police said a concerned motorist saw a man covered in blood on Huxley Street at Aberg Avenue at 3:30 p.m.
According to the report, the motorist pulled over to ask the 43-year-old if he was OK. He told the woman he was fine, but that he had been hit by a car.
The woman called 911, and officers determined the man had multiple road rash-type injuries, police said. Police weren’t able to establish where in the area the man might have been struck.
Police said he couldn’t remember and he was taken to a hospital.
