What is your favorite part about living in Madison? I’ve never lived this close to a body of water before, so to be able to just walk a block from my apartment and be on a trail next to Lake Mendota is so peaceful and relaxing.

What is the biggest news story that you’ve covered? The 2019 shooting at the Shake the Lake fireworks show.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Share my passion for music and trumpet by playing in a variety of bands (right now, the Verona Area Community Band!).

What is your favorite kind of ice cream? Mint chocolate chip.

What is your favorite place to vacation? Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, because I miss college.

What was your favorite band when you were in high school? Bruno Mars. Still is if we’re being honest.

What is your favorite sport to play or watch? Baseball.

What are you really bad at that you’d love to be great at? Baking.

What is your most memorable travel experience? Marching in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland, while in college marching band in 2018!
