What is your favorite part about living in Madison? How much there is to do! I also love that it’s a college town. Oh, and there’s so many good food options!

What is the biggest news story that you’ve covered? The Sun Prairie Explosion as well as the historic flooding here in Madison.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I love eating. When I’m not eating, I like to go hiking, go to craft fairs, explore new shops, write poems, sing and dance!

What is your favorite kind of ice cream? Chocolate Chip and Strawberry!

What is your favorite place to vacation? I’ve only been to Europe once but I want to go back! It was so beautiful!

Who is your hero and why? John Sharify. He’s a special projects reporter at KING 5 in Seattle. I wouldn’t be where I am today in terms of storytelling if it weren’t for him. He is everything I aspire to be in a journalist and human being.

What is your favorite sport to play or watch? Pole dancing!

If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be? The ability to save dog’s lives so they could live forever.

Who would you most like to interview alive or dead, and why? Oprah Winfrey. I think she has such an awesome history that would make such a compelling interview.

What is your favorite tradition around the holidays? Eating. Period.

What is your favorite song of all time? The Real Slim Shady by Eminem. I can rap every lyric. Not kidding.

What is your favorite book of all time? I love all books by Chuck Palahnuik.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Everything that happens to you, happens for you.

If you could relive any moment…what would that be? The moment I met John Sharify lol

Where were you when September 11, 2001 occurred? I was so young, I don’t really remember it happening. I think I was at home getting ready for school though.
