What is your favorite part about living in Madison? I love the culture of the city and its restaurants.

What is the biggest news story that you’ve covered? The death and memorial services of Sen. John McCain.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I go shopping and watch TV.

What is your favorite kind of ice cream? Soft serve vanilla

What is your favorite place to vacation? Newport Beach, Calif.

Who is your hero and why? One of my college professors — Heather. She pushed me to be the journalist I am today.

What was your favorite band when you were in high school? Maroon 5

What is your favorite sport to watch? Hockey

If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be? Teleportation

What is your most memorable travel experience? I studied abroad in San Severino Marche, Italy, during a summer in college.
