What is your favorite part about living in Madison? Being close to family. We have a lot of family around here.
What is the biggest news story that you’ve covered? The unrest in Ferguson, MO after the shooting of Michael Brown.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Golf, play guitar, take the kids to the park.
What is your favorite kind of ice cream? Soft serve swirl in a cone.
What is your favorite place to vacation? A quiet beach
Who is your hero and why? Peter Jennings. He was an outstanding journalist.
What was your favorite band when you were in high school? I had several. I was really into a lot of punk rock bands during that phase of my life.
What is your favorite sport to play or watch? Football or golf.
If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be? The ability to reason with young children.
What are you really bad at that you’d love to be great at? Golf.
