What is your favorite part about living in Madison? 
The people!

What is the biggest news story that you’ve covered? 
Extreme weather and tornado coverage

What do you like to do in your spare time? 
I love sports, the outdoors, discovering new music, reading, playing guitar, exploring, and spending time with friends and family!

What is your favorite kind of ice cream? 
Sparkys Ice Cream in Columbia, MO, has a flavor called “Oreo Speedwagon” which is half oreo and half coffee. I’ve yet to find a better flavor of ice cream in all my travels.

What is your favorite place to vacation? 
San Diego, California

Who is your hero and why? 
My mom and dad both share the role of my hero. My parents have both worked extremely hard and made major sacrifices in order to provide my sisters and I opportunities to succeed. Simply put, they are the most selfless people I know!

What was your favorite band when you were in high school? 
Foo Fighters

What is your favorite sport to play or watch? 
Play- Football

If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be? 
The ability to control time

What are you really bad at that you’d love to be great at? 
Dunking

What is your most memorable travel experience? 
For two years in a row, I joined a team of missionaries to Harmons, Jamaica, where we spent time building houses and hanging out with the Jamaican people!

What is your favorite tradition around the holidays? 
Thanksgiving dinner with family and the Detroit Lions most likely losing on thanksgiving day

What is your favorite song of all time? 
Mr Brightside by the Killers

What is your favorite movie of all time? 
Whiplash

What is your favorite book of all time? 
Love Does by Bob Goff

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? 
“Control what you can control and the rest will fall into place”

I was five years old, in kindergarten class!
