Wilma ‘Billie’ Jacobson, 93, of Richland Center died, Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Harvest Guest Home. She was born January 23, 1919 in Eagle Township the daughter of Archie and Pearl (Barrett) Richardson. She attended the Balmoral Grade School and graduated from Muscoda High School in 1937. Billie was employed at the Muscoda Telephone Company and part time at Vandrans Variety Store. In 1942 she was united in marriage to Orville Jacobson of Five Points and the couple lived in Richland Center, where she worked at Empire Drug Store for 23 years. Billie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, and the Richland Ramblers Camping Club.
Billie is survived by three children, Bruce (Sharry) Jacobson of Louisville, KY, Jane (David) Nee of Noblesville, IN, David (Debbie) Jacobson of Rochester Hills, MI, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Sharon Wilson and Jean Jacobson, many other relatives, and friends.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville, two brothers Ralph and Harold Richardson, and sister Fae Reetz.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Engel officiating. Burial will follow in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
