Beulah “Bea” Moeser

STOUGHTON-Beulah “Bea” Moeser, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was born on a farm in St. Peter, Minn., on April 30, 1920, the daughter of Dan and Clara (Asleson) Gilbertson.

In 1944 she met the love of her life, Russell J. Moeser of Larsen, Wis., while both were supporting the war effort working at Truax Field in Madison. He died in 1980, and in recent years she spoke often about her longing to rejoin with him in the presence of Christ. Bea was an active member of the Stoughton Community since she and Russell settled there in 1947, and she was a member of the Stoughton Baptist Church. Family and faith were of greatest importance to Bea. She took pride in her family and leaves behind three sons, Dan (Erica), Jim (Patti), and Phil (Brenda) as well as seven grandchildren, Matt, Alec, Amanda, Amy, Jeffrey, John, and Paige; and three great-grandchildren, Catie, Siri, and Olive.

Funeral services will be held at Skaalen Chapel, 400 N. Morris St., Stoughton, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2012. Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51, Stoughton, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, and also at Skaalen Chapel from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that any memorials go to the charity of the donor’s choice.

The family extends its heartfelt thank you to the staff at Vennevoll and Skaalen Rehabilitation Services for their caring and support that contributed to making Bea’s senior years so happy and independent and to her many friends in faith who were a blessing to her over the years.

John 14; 1-4″Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
