Betty L. Hall, 87, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Platteville, WI.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 30th at Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI, with Pastor Roy Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Benton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Benton, WI. Friends may call on Thursday, October 30th from 9:30am until time of service at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI.
Betty was born on May 11, 1927 to Joseph & Lula (Scadden) Richardson in Buncombe in Lafayette County, WI. She attended school at the Milltown Grade School and graduated from the Hazel Green High School. She married John Floyd “Hezzy” Hall on June 27, 1946 in New Diggings, WI. Betty was a loving wife to Hezzy for 68 years and his best friend.
Betty enjoyed traveling, music, baking and time spent visiting with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty is survived by her husband John Floyd “Hezzy” Hall; many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews; along with a special niece, Rochelle (Robert) Farrey of Salem, WI and close friends, Pat & Irene Hillary of Hazel Green, WI. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ladell Stockel; a brother, Ernest “Jim” Richardson and 2 nephews, Paul & Donald Stockel.
In lieu of flowers a Betty L. Hall Memorial Fund has been established.
