Betty Jean Chapman
MADISON-Betty Jean Chapman, went home to The Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2014. She was born on Sept. 14, 1923, the daughter of Arthur G. and Gladys (Smith) Wundrow.
Betty was a graduate of East High School in 1941. She owned and ran Miss Betty’s Pre-School with her daughter from 1960 until 1992. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends at Hyland Park. She was passionate about Wisconsin sports and working with her crafts.
Betty is survived by her son-in-law, John (Jannette) Yogerst; three grandchildren, Asheley C. (Curt Dague) Yogerst of Marshall, Jason J. Yogerst of Madison and Casey A. (Christine) Chapman; and great-grandson, Beau Chapman of New Brighton, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cromer E. Chapman; daughter Capri A. Yogerst; and son, Gregg A. Chapman. Betty spent Mother’s Day in heaven with her children. Happy Mother’s Day from your family. Private family services will be held.
