Betty A. Krukenberg
COLUMBUS/MARSHALL–Betty Ann Krukenberg age 47, formerly of Marshall, died on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at American Way in Randolph, after a valiant fight against colon cancer.
She was born on September 22, 1969 in Columbus to Harvey and Mary Ann (Moy) Krukenberg. Betty graduated from Columbus High School where she played the flute.
Betty loved animals, especially her “girls” (cats) Ginger and Princess. Other interests were Christian rock and Celine Dion music. She worked for a time at Van Holten’s in Waterloo and enjoyed time on her computer. Betty had a strong independent spirit and a ready wit.
She is survived by her father Harvey, of Randolph; other relatives and friends, especially Pam Davison, Sherry Thompson, and Emily Skalitzky. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary, in November 2015, and her brother and sister, Larry and Ann in 1962.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, W10802 County Road TT, Columbus. Father Mike Erwin will officiate. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.
