Bennie Rageth, age 78 of Big Spring, Wisconsin died Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Bennie was born November 8, 1938 in Brantwood, Wisconsin the son of Bennie and Mary (Noll) Rageth. He joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 16 and was later honorably discharged. In December of 1968 he married Shirley Ebert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bennie was a very active person in his younger days, planting a beautiful apple orchard and asparagus beds, gardening and tending flowers; enjoyed following the Green Bay Packers and Dale Earnhardt Racing and prior to his stroke loved hunting.
Bennie is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; children, Pauline (Mark Bires) Rageth of Big Spring, Bennie of Wisconsin Dells and Rosemary Kaminski of Janesville, Wisconsin; a brother, Sam (Jane) Rageth of Brantwood; sisters, Vida Tarpley of Arizona and Audrey (Donald) Ebert of Milwaukee; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, especially Makayla Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Frank; sister, Margaret Zablan and a grandson, Robert Ben Rageth.
The family would like to thank Dr. Randy Krszjzaniek and the staff at St. Clare Hospital for the wonderful care provided to Bennie.
