Beltline delays expected with more construction closures over next two weeks
MADISON, Wis. — Drivers should be prepared for delays due to more lane and ramp closures on the Beltline over the next couple of weeks.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says daytime lane closures are expected between Whitney Way and John Nolen Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday through Thursday over the next two weeks, November 1-5 and November 8-12.
The DOT says daytime ramp closures may also occur Monday through Thursday for the Fish Hatchery Road and Todd Drive ramps to the westbound Beltline and the Todd Drive ramp to the eastbound Beltline.
There will be message boards at those ramps with the exact dates and times of those closures.
The DOT says they expect delays to result from the lane and ramp closures, and they’re urging drivers to stay alert when driving through the construction zone.
The closures are part of the ongoing Beltline Flex Lane project and are subject to change due to weather.
