Beer bar to open this weekend in former The Frequency location
BarleyPop Live will have 50 taps
BarleyPop Tap and Shop is gaining a second location Saturday as it opens its doors to its latest venture, BarleyPop Live.
The original location on Atwood Avenue combines a tap room with a bottle shop, and the new location will be similar.
BarleyPop Live, which is opening in the former location of the Frequency on West Main Street, will have 50 taps of craft beer and cider, live music, pinball and a selection of bottles and cans. The spot will also fill crowlers and growlers from its taps.
In honor of the grand opening, BarleyPop Live will have timed tappings at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Music is unique to the BarleyPop Live location. A Facebook post said the specifics on the first live music shows will be later in April, in conjunction with Madison Craft Beer Week, which is April 26 to May 5.
