Bandanna-wearing man robs east Madison gas station at gunpoint
A man wore a bandanna over his face as he robbed an east Madison gas station at gunpoint Tuesday night, police said.
Madison police said a lone gunman entered the Citgo at 4905 Commercial Ave. at 9:54 p.m. A clerk told police the robber was armed with a handgun, demanded money and fled with cash from the till.
Police said a K-9 was brought in, but no suspect was found.
The man was described as white, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall and had a thin build. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a red-and-white bandanna across his face, according to the report.
