Bagley man suspected of attempted homicide
Man arrested on additional charges
TOWN OF WHITE OAK SPRINGS, Wis. — A Bagley man was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide after a shooting at a home in Lafayette County.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called at 8:41 p.m. Thursday to a home on Penny Benton Road in the town of White Oak Springs on a report of an altercation involving gunfire. A woman who called told dispatchers an unknown man had left the area in a vehicle. Deputies found the woman on foot in the area.
Deputies arrested David Arnold Heisz, 59, at his home in Bagley. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide, false imprisonment and battery.
Benton First Response, Hazel Green EMS and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
