Badgers take home the axe for 14th straight year in shutout win against Minnesota

Wisconsin looks ahead to Big Ten Championship game

The Wisconsin Badgers will head home to Madison with the axe in their 14 th straight win over Minnesota Saturday.

The 31-0 rivalry game against the Gophers marks the end of Wisconsin’s undefeated season. The Badgers are now 12-0 for the first time in school history.

Quarterback Alex Hornibook completed 15 of 19 passes, threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns in the shutout game against the Gophers. Jonathan Taylor ran for 149 yards and one touchdown. He is now at 1,806 yards this season, the third most by a freshman in FBS history.

Wisconsin is ranked fifth by the College Football Playoff Committee. The Badgers now turn their attention to the Big 10 Championship game against Ohio State next Saturday.
