Badgers just 1/2 game out of first place in Big Ten following Maryland loss

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team is now just 1/2 game behind the first place spot in the Big Ten.

On Tuesday night, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights beat the division leading Maryland Terrapins 78 to 67.

Following the loss, the Terrapins have a conference record of 13-6, while Wisconsin’s conference record of 12-6 has them just a half-game behind.

Wisconsin plays next against Northwestern Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
