MADISON, Wis. — The excitement is building as the Badgers prepare for their first game of the season.
Week One always brings some changes to the depth chart, with a big one coming at running back. Chez Mellusi, who transferred to Wisconsin from Clemson, will start ahead of Jalen Berger.
The Badgers didn’t take long to lock in for their game against Penn State
“The midset kind of flips when you come in here on a Monday and you see on the screen, 5 days away,” Senior Jack Sanborn said Monday. “Yeah, things definitely feel like football is back.”
Badger Head Coach Paul Chryst also showed his excitement.
“You open up with a really good football team, that’s a challenge,” Chryst said. “But it’s also a heck of an opportunity.”
The Badgers will host the Penn State Nittany Lions at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday, September 4th, at 11 a.m.
