Badger women beat Bemidji State 4-0

Badgers fare well in Academic Progress Rates

Wisconsin women’s hockey won the WCHA Final Face-Off championship Saturday in Grand Forks, N.D. The Badgers defeated Bemidji State 4-0. 

Sarah Nurse got the Badgers off to a fast start, scoring two goals in the first period. Karley Sylvester and Katarina Zgraja added goals for UW. Ann-Renee Desbiens tallied 15 saves in the shutout. 

Wisconsin earned the number-four seed in the NCAA Tournament, and hosts Boston University in the first round Saturday at 2 p.m.
