Badger volleyball survives scare at Michigan

Fourth ranked Wisconsin escaped with a five-set win over Michigan in a Big Ten volleyball match in Ann Arbor Friday night.

The Badgers won their 12th straight match 25-20, 24-26, 25-19, 21-25 and 16-14.

Haleigh Nelson had a team high 16 kills. Lauren Carlini had her 12th double double of the season with 14 digs and 48 assists.

Nelson and Courtney Thomas both had six blocks for Wisconsin which moved its season record to 21-2 and its conference mark to 12-1.

The Badgers play at Michigan State Sunday at noon.
