Badger linebackers amping up their sack attack
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin defense lived up to Jim Leonhard’s standard in just about every category in 2020 except one, sacking the quarterback.
“Felt like I could have been so much more of an impact… felt like I let my team down”
26 tackles, 6 TFL, and a sack in 7 games as a true freshman without spring ball. Not bad, but not good enough for Nick Herbig. #Badgers

The Badgers finished with 11 total sacks last season. In 2019, both Zack Baun and Chris Orr finished with 11.5 or more. So this spring, it’s been all about violent hands and improving their “get off” to improve their numbers in the backfield.
