Badger fans invade Indy ahead of Big 10 Championship

The Big 10 Championship game is Saturday but the excitement and the fans are already in Indianapolis celebrating at the Big 10 Fan Fest.

It’s UW Football’s fifth appearance at the Big Ten Championship game. With an undefeated season Badger fans at Fan Fest said they not only think UW will win tomorrow against Ohio State but that they’ll go all the way to the National Championship game. Badger fans from South Carolina to Kenosha, Wis., which is about a five-hour drive, all came to witness a Badger victory.

“I had hoped for a long time when Barry Alvarez was the coach and when Bielema was here that we were going to go all the way, but this is a great opportunity finally to get there,” Ken Kendall, a Badger fan from Kenosha said.

If you’re coming down for the game tomorrow you can still attend Fan Fest it will be going on from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. you can kick a field goal, run a 40-yard dash and see the Big 10 trophy which will hopefully be in the Badger’s possession after tomorrow’s game.
