MADISON, Wis. — A group of women have put together a comedy showcase in response to Louis C.K.’s scheduled appearances at the Comedy Club.

C.K. was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women in 2017 during the #metoo movement.

BABE-APALOOZA, a comedy showcase scheduled for July 25 at Bos Meadery, will feature performances from multiple women comedians.

“The #metoo movement erupted across the world almost four years ago,” the event post reads. “Apparently not much has changed in our society, and osme places are continuing to celebrate the sickos and dumbos that should no longer be celebrated.”

Tickets for the event are $10. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

The showcase will feature performances from Sasha Rosser, Allie Lindsay, Olivia Witt, Sarah Schmidt, Raegan Niemela, Vicki Lynn and Dina Nina Martinez.

All tips and extra proceeds from the show will go to the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
