Authorities ID woman who died in Black River Falls fire
BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. — Authorities have released the name of a 31-year-old woman who died in an apartment fire in western Wisconsin over the weekend.
The Black River Falls Fire Department says police identified the victim as Kathryn Sage Montana.
Firefighters arrived early Sunday and found fire coming from one of the six apartments in the one-story complex.
The Leader-Telegram (http://bit.ly/2oFydqd ) reports crews knocked down the flames and found a body inside the apartment. Everyone else was evacuated from the other apartments, and no one else was hurt.
Investigators don’t know what caused the fire but say it’s not considered suspicious.
