Winter storm approaching southern Wisconsin

A winter storm is heading toward southern Wisconsin later this week that has the potential to impact travel across the Midwest for several days. The first round of light snow will arrive Thursday and mainly impact areas north of Madison with 1 to 2 inches of snow Thursday afternoon into Thursday night.

Severe T-storms possible Wednesday night

A front moving through the area this evening will lead to showers and thunderstorms developing and moving through. Some of these thunderstorms will be strong or possibly severe, with high winds being the main threat.

Flooding continues in Columbia, Sauk counties

Rising waters on the Baraboo and Wisconsin rivers continue to cover roads and fields in Sauk and Columbia counties and have prompted emergency officials to recommend people in at least one low-lying area relocate.
