Armed man robs women’s clothing store
Maurice's employees forced into rear office
BARABOO, Wis. — A women’s clothing store in Baraboo was robbed by an armed man Sunday afternoon, according to a release from Baraboo police.
Officers were called to Maurice’s at 930 U.S. Highway 12 at about 5 p.m. for a report of a robbery.
Witnesses told police a man entered the store with a handgun and demanded money. They said he forced employees into a rear office before leaving on foot headed east.
The robber is described as black, about 30 years old and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a mask over his head and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
