Arlene Marie (Nelson) Lillemon
WINDSOR/WAUNAKEE, Wis. — Arlene M. Lillemon, age 93, was united with Christ on Thursday, April 27, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 26, 1923, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Alvey) Nelson. She was united in marriage to Harvey Lillemon on September 9, 1950 in Bruce, Wisconsin. Arlene spent her professional life as a bookkeeper for a variety of businesses in the Madison area. In her spare time she was an avid bridge player and a talented seamstress. Arlene loved sports, especially cheering on the Badgers, Packers and Brewers. Most important to her was her faith and family.
Arlene is survived by her daughters, Karen Johnson, Pam Odorizzi, Sandy (Mark) DeSelle and Diane (Dwaine) Lukins; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen (Dick) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; brothers, Bill and Jerry; sisters, Eleanor, Marilyn, Ellen, Joan and Mary Lou; son-in-law, David Johnson; and granddaughter, Catherine Odorizzi.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at WINDSOR UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 4434 Second Street, Windsor with Rev. Julie Overman and Rev. David McDonald presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 10am until the time of service.
