Argument over primaries lands man in hospital

Petrowski has cash edge over Seidel in state Senate race

An argument over Wisconsin’s recall primaries has landed a Chippewa Falls husband in the hospital.

Chippewa Falls police said 36-year-old Jeffrey A. Radle and 30-year-old Amanda M. Radle argued Tuesday over the ongoing recall primaries.

As Amanda tried to leave, police said Jeffrey stood in front of her vehicle to prevent her from going.

A Chippewa Herald report said Amanda repeatedly nudged him with the vehicle but he stood his ground. When she tried to drive around him, he allegedly jumped in front of the vehicle and was struck, police said.

Amanda reported the incident to police. Jeffrey Radle’s condition wasn’t immediately available.

Both are being referred to the district attorney for possible domestic-related charges.

A man who answered the phone at the Radle home said no one was available to comment.
