Area church holds drive-thru Thanksgiving meal
MADISON, Wis. — A local church that has been serving a Thanksgiving meal for more than 25 years is finding another way to make sure that people who need a meal are able to get one.
On Thursday, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church hosted Thanksgiving to-go. Anyone who needed a meal was able to pick one up via drive-thru in the church’s parking lot.
The church usually serves about 400 people, but they saw a bigger need this year. In total, the church served 707 meals.
