Anti-abortion protesters march in rain on anniversary of Roe vs. Wade decision
MADISON, Wis. — An anti-abortion rally took place outside of the state Capitol on Monday, the 45th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision.
Organizers said the turnout, even in the rain, shows that there is passion behind the anti-abortion movement in Wisconsin.
“The pro-life movement is here for every single human life; we don’t care if today, you know, one child is saved or if every single child is saved,” Wisconsin Right to Life’s Chelsea Duffy said.
Roe vs. Wade was decided Jan. 22, 1973. The decision said woman have to right to an abortion under the 14th Amendment.
