FITCHBURG, Wis. — Annette C. Geiser, age 76, of Fitchburg passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born on April 6, 1940, in Racine, the daughter of Irvin and Annette (Mackus) Geiser. Annette graduated from Madison’s Central High School, raised four children who will miss her dearly, and worked for many years in several key roles for Rural Insurance Company.
Annette loved sports-particularly Badger hockey, Badger basketball, and professional tennis. She was a voracious reader, loved old movies and the arts, enjoyed a wide variety of music and was a wonderful dancer. Annette was also passionate about nature and animals, especially birds which she delighted in daily. Her love of nature and all its beauty was surpassed only by her adoration of, and devotion to, her three grandchildren.
Annette is survived by her son, James Santulli of Madison; daughters, Carrie (David) Santulli Schudda of Oregon, Teresa Santulli of Fitchburg, and Kris-Anne (Jack) Tompkins of Olympia, Wash.; three grandchildren, Kaela Jane Schudda, Zachary M. Tompkins, and Noah B. Tompkins; and sisters-in-law, Barbara (James) Geiser and Barbara (Don) Geiser. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald and James Geiser; and sister, Grace Kreiser.
Please join Annette’s family in a celebration of her beautiful life at HOLY WISDOM MONESTARY, 4200 County Hwy M, Middleton, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Thursday, April 6, 2017. Reception will be held from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Service will be held from 4:15 p.m-5 p.m., with food following and music throughout.
