Ann C. Haack
MADISON-Ann C. Haack, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the age of 64.
She was born on April 5, 1950, the daughter of Frank P. and Catherine (Baer) Haack. Ann graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1968, and went to MATC to get her LPN license and later to become an RN working at St. Mary’s Hospital for 34 years. She was diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Dementia over ten years ago.
Ann is survived by her mother, Catherine Haack; guardian/cousin, Valerie (Ray) Stimpson; close friend and co-worker Holly (Ken) Hanson; and many cousins and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her father, Frank P. Haack; maternal grandparents, Jake and Katherine Baer; and paternal grandparents, Anna and Gustave Haack.
A Celebration of Ann’s life will be held at THE FRIENDSHIP ROOM, SKAALEN NURSING HOME, 400 Morris Ave., Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
As Ann’s guardian, I would like to let my family Gertrude Hall, Mary (Greg) Ostrowsky, Barbara (Ken) Bowman, Kathy Hall and William (Cheryl) Hall, know that I could not have done all that I did for Ann without their love, support and help over the past six years. I would also like to thank Ann’s caregivers from REM Wisconsin for their unconditional love and care they have given Ann for the past three years. Also, a special thanks to Ray Stimpson as his love and support has guided me through these past six years caring for Ann.
