Alcohol may have been factor in east side disturbance, police say
Madison police said alcohol may be a factor in a physical disturbance on the near east side Sunday morning.
A 23-year-old man and an unknown man were involved in a physical disturbance in a parking lot in the 3100 block of Worthington Avenue around 6 a.m., according to a release.
The 23-year-old was cut on the wrist by an unknown object, police said. He was treated and released from a hospital.
The unknown man is described as black, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
