MADISON-Ajay Seth, 71, died on Friday, Janurary 3, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Madison. He was surrounded by friends and family at the time of his passing.
He was born in New Delhi India on February 16, 1948. At the age of 20, he moved to Madison WI to pursue an education in engineering, where he graduated with a master’s degree. While attending the University, he met his wife of 38 years, Lynn Seth. They had two children together, Aaron and Aneil Seth.
He is also survived by his daughter, Amara Theresa Seth, his brother and sister, Vijay and Neena, his inlaws (Barb, Gulu, Brisa, Rachel, Jennifer, Rohan, Ramona) and his seven grandchildren, Xavier, Allora, Ezelle, Jeremiah, Natalia, Nyel, and Faith.
When Ajay graduated from the UW, he pursued a career in and import business with his wife. They were able to travel the world together to purchase merchandise to sell at shows across the United States. Once they had their children, Ajay and Lynn settled down in Madison Wisconsin where they owned a successful business named Artifacts on State Street.
Ajay was a unique soul. He loved his children more than anything. Even through the hardest of times, he supported them. He truly loved unconditionally unlike any person his family has known. Other than his children, friendship and relationships were the most important things to him. He admired his own parents, Mummy and Papa, and his children feel that same admiration for him. He was a genuine person who cared for everyone, even strangers. He would give the clothes off his back to a person on the street, even if it meant he would suffer. Ajay enjoyed reading, writing poems, cooking, and music but more than anything he enjoyed PEOPLE.
Ajay will be missed by many including: His children, sister, brother, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, friends, and any other person he had touched with his love throughout his life. Although gone, he will not be forgotten.
