Agatha V. “Aggie” Fisk

LODI-Agatha “Aggie” Fisk, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at Lodi Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1922, in Lodi, the daughter of James and Gertrude (Ganser) Fitzgerald. Aggie graduated from Lodi High School in 1939. On April 14, 1942, she married Lloyd Fisk in Lodi at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Together they owned and operated the Bridge Tavern and Wholesale Bait and Tackle in Okee. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and its Altar Society and also belonged to the Lodi American Legion Post No. 216 Ladies Auxiliary.

Aggie had a variety of interests including traveling, gardening, and crocheting and giving afghans to family and friends. She loved spending time and camping with her family and enjoyed 38 years of the Fisk “Summer Hummer”.

Aggie is survived by her children, Judy (Ed) Straus, Ron (Ruth), Tom (Jeannine), Doug (Ellie), Karla (Donald) Schultz, Dennis (Maggie), and Susan Fisk; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert Fitzgerald and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her son, Mark; three great grandchildren, Ava Rose, Evan and Emmitt; her parents; a sister, Loretta Brimmer; and her two brothers, Leo and Louis Fitzgerald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. PATRICK’S, 521 Fair St, Lodi, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Jan. 27, 2018, with Fr. Scott Jablonski presiding. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main St., from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, and also at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or to St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Lodi Good Samaritan Nursing Home and Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care given to Aggie.
