Actress Daly stumps for Obama in Wis.
Daly urged supporters to work harder for President
JANESVILLE, Wis. — An actress known for her roles on the television shows “Cagney and Lacey” and “Judging Amy” stumped for President Barack Obama in Wisconsin.
The Janesville Gazette reported Tyne Daly stopped in Whitewater, Janesville, and Beloit on Saturday.
She urged about 100 Democratic supporters in downtown Janesville to work harder for Obama, saying the president brought the country back from the brink of disaster, and he needs more time to continue his work.
Daly was on the 1980s TV series “Cagney and Lacey” and the 1999-2005 series “Judging Amy.”
