Accumulating snow expected Saturday night
Highest amounts west of Dane County

Plenty of cold air will be in place with during this storm so a light 1 to 3 inches of snowfall is expected. The highest amounts will be west of Dane County.
The Madison Streets Division has begun applying salt brine to major streets to prevent snow from bonding with the pavement and reducing the need for salt when the snow starts.
