MADISON, Wis. — Aaron Rodgers has accomplished a lot of his goals, but this week he gets to cross an unlikely one off the list: host of his favorite game show.

Rodgers begins his two-week run as guest host of Jeopardy! as part of a rotating schedule of hosts following the death of Alex Trebek. Rodgers first announced he’d be trying his hand as a game show host back in January.

The reigning NFL MVP has said it’s always been a dream of his.

“Other than a Super Bowl, this is the honor of a lifetime,” Rodgers said in a promotional video for his guest host run. “Following in the footsteps of a legend is something I know a little about.”

Rodgers will host the show for two weeks starting Monday, with money won by contestants being matched to a charity supporting local businesses.

He’s no stranger to the show, having appeared on — and winning — a celebrity edition of the show in 2015, raising $50,000 for charity with his winnings.
