A Sweet Addition to Willy Street
It’s New Year’s Eve and we leave the year on a sweet note: Our friends at Madison Sourdough are giving us more deliciousness to look forward to in 2015 with the soon-to-open MSCo Patisserie moving in next door in the building formerly occupied by the Midwest Clay Project. According to a recent statement by Andrew Hutchison, co-owner and baker at Madison Sourdough, “We just finished the major demolition and are getting all the finishes planned and finalized.” A soft opening will be held January 20th with a grand opening soon to follow.
The French pastry shop will be different than Madison Sourdough in that it will provide its customers with such elegant desserts as eclairs, macarons, buttercream cakes, dacquois, tarte tatins, fancy pies and confections. With only fourteen seats arranged among a few tables and a bar/counter, as well as outdoor seating shared with Madison Sourdough, MSCo Patisserie is sure to become one of Willy’s Street’s most charming gathering spots.
