A.J. Hawk: ‘I was trying to not die up there!’
Packers linebacker felt woozy after flying with Blue Angels
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WKBT) — Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk was in La Crosse on Wednesday to fly with the Blue Angels. He said he felt fine for practice with the Packers the following day, but the hours after his flight were a different story.
“I feel bad because I was apologizing to him the whole time because I got sick minute 12 or 13 and we were up there 50 minutes,” Hawk said. “I was trying to not die up there!”
Having said that, would he do it again?
“I’d go back in a heartbeat. I might even get more sick. It was awesome.”
