A celebration of literature at the Wisconsin Book Festival
MADISON, Wis. – This year’s Wisconsin Book Festival kicked off Saturday, celebrating diversity in literature.
This year’s festival combines virtual and in-person events, including a talk with author Mary Roach.
Many of this year’s events are being held at Madison Public Library-Central, in partnership with the ongoing Wisconsin Science Festival.
The Festival is also offering virtual events to ensure all can participate.
“Our virtual events proved very popular over the last year and a half,” festival Director Conor Moran said in a statement. “We want to do whatever we can to celebrate books and reading, to support authors, and to make author talks accessible to our community.”
