9 rounded up during warrant crackdown
Deputies visit 57 residences
BELOIT, Wis. — Nine were arrested during a single-day round-up of wanted people in the Beloit area on Thursday.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office said the nine people were arrested on 17 warrants for drug crimes, disorderly conduct or disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, theft, contempt of court and failing to pay child support.
Deputies visited 57 homes during the effort. Fines associated with all the warrants total $12,871, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
