Old and new favorites at Colectivo Coffee
Spiced Apple Cider and Pumpkin Spice Fluff Latte are among some of the classic fall beverages from Colectivo this season. Or find a new fall favorites like the Mocha Mexicana – “a cozy fall drink to sit next to the fire with” that mixes spicy and sweet with Fee Brother’s Orange Bitters (nonalcoholic), cocoa and other spices. Back to school beverages at Fair Trade Coffee House
Fair Trade has concocted some unique fall-themed drinks with catchy names. If you’re looking for a sip during a study session, go with the All Nighter, a cup of coffee with two shots of espresso. For a game day pick-me-up, try the On, Wisconsin, a cherry and white chocolate mocha, or the “Badger,” a white and dark chocolate mocha. There’s also the Teacher’s Pet, a caramel apple latte. Fair Trade will also offer fall classics such as pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin pie lattes all season. 418 State St.

Beverage and bakery goodness at Grace Coffee Co.
Grace Coffee Co. recently shared its plan for autumnal drinks and pastry items on Instagram. Try the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew or Grace’s take on the Pumpkin Spice Latte. For tea lovers, there’s a Pumpkin Chai and Apple Pie Chai. Additionally, Grace is rolling out a White Chocolate Macadamia Latte. Pair these fall flavors with a pumpkin muffin or a cinnamon apple cheese danish. Multiple locations

Fall into new drinks and books at Leopold’s Books Bar Caffè
Keep an eye out for new seasonal drinks on the menu at Leopold’s starting next week. Specials include the Chaider – a chai latte mixed with local apple cider and brown sugar, available iced or hot, or the Cardamom Cappuccino, made with house-made cardamom and honey syrup. Also new is the Vietnamese Sea Salt Latte, a twist on one of Leopold’s signature coffee drinks, which includes Nguyen Coffee Supply espresso, sweetened condensed milk, milk of choice and sea salt. Spiced Brown Sugar at Cafe Social
Stop into Cafe Social this month and you’ll find its featured drink: the Spiced Brown Sugar Latte. According to an Instagram post, the drink’s secret is “blending brown sugar and pumpkin pie spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves into the espresso and topping it off with a dash of spice.” Cafe Social is located in the Lark at Kohl apartments. 10 N. Fall favorites at Michelangelo’s Coffee House
Michelangelo’s is bringing back some seasonal favorites such as the Pumpkin Pie Latte and the Everything Nice Mocha– a sweet drink with white chocolate, brown sugar, cinnamon and Irish cream flavors. Enjoy these fall drinks with a bakery treat, such as the gluten-free pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. The touring cast of the Broadway show “Mean Girls” recently stopped in during their week in Madison earlier this month, and they thought Michelangelo’s vegan, gluten-free peanut butter bar was “so fetch.” 114 State St.

Going “nutty” for fall drinks at Indie Coffee
This Regent Street spot is known for waffles, bagel sandwiches and, of course, coffee. This fall, Indie Coffee will offer fall specialities such as the Nutty Professor – a latte with Ghirardelli dark chocolate and hazelnut. Also on the menu is the Autumnal Fire – a mocha with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. “Of course, everyone has their own version of the pumpkin spice latte,” says J.J. Kilmer, owner of Indie Coffee. “We call ours the Pumpkin Pie Latte. A nice little twist is to make a White Pumpkin Latte, featuring white chocolate and of course, pumpkin!” 1225 Regent St.

September Specials at Cargo Coffee
Cargo Coffee is offering drink specials this month that capture the essence of fall and back to school. The PB&J latte pairs peanut butter and raspberry syrup with espresso and your choice of milk. The Maple Pancake latte spotlights sweet maple syrup flavoring in a coffee beverage. Enjoy these drinks with local live music – featured most weekends at Cargo Coffee’s east-side location. 750 E. Madison Chocolate Co. takes the pumpkin spice latte up a notch. The cafe and chocolate shop tops its PSL with a “house-made thick and delicious whip” making it a decadent fall drink. Madison Chocolate Co. will also feature seasonal sweet treats such as pumpkin bars and apple cakes. 729 Glenway St.
