86-year-old man reported missing found safe
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The 86-year-old man who was he subject of a Silver Alert Tuesday was found safe, officials said.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice put out the alert after Donald Skinner, who left a breakfast restaurant in Eau Claire at 10 a.m., didn’t return home as expected.
At 9 p.m. Tuesday, officials said he was found safe. There were no details about where he was located.
At about 5:15 p.m., Officials had said Skinner was in Marathon County east of the Wausau area and may continuing east.
The alert said Skinner is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment and has gotten lost before. When he was previously missing, he was found in Minnesota.
