69-year-old Montello man arrested on suspicion of 7th OWI

VILLAGE OF WYOCENA, Wis. — The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for his 7th operating while under the influence offense, according to a press release.

Sheriff Roger Brandner said a concerned citizen called 911 after seeing a car traveling north on Highway 22 in Lowville Township. The caller reported the driver was unable to stay in their lane, crossed the center line and was traveling at varying speeds.

The car was stopped near the Village of Wyocena and the driver, Donald Joseph Siebert, 69, of Montello, was arrested following a field sobriety test.
