6 schools to receive water bottle filling stations
"Got Water?" project provides easy access to water
MADISON, Wis. — Through the “Got Water?” project, six more schools will be getting hydration stations in 2018.
The 2018 recipients are Kennedy Elementary School, Muir Elementary School, Crestwood Elementary School, Lapham Elementary School, Lowell Elementary School and Cherokee Heights Middle School.
By the end of this school year, half of Madison elementary schools and three middle schools will have water bottle refilling stations.
The “Got Water?” initiative aims to provide kids with easy access to water to help them make healthier beverage choices.
Before the initiative started in 2015, no elementary or middle school had a water bottle refilling station, and after this school year, a total of 16 elementary and three middle schools will have one.
