Chilipo chili paste is inspired by Latin American flavors and named after Chile, the home country of creator Javi Guerrero. He and his wife, Sarah Keib, plan to start selling it in March. The nutty, savory chili paste with a spicy kick is best served on sandwiches, mixed into sautéed veggies or scooped up with a chip. @chilipastechilipoCourtesy of Chilipo

This fun “Intersections of Madison” print has gained a lot of traffic online. It’s garnered fandom from Madisonians who feel a certain connection to some of the city’s most recognizable intersections. (Hey, there’s even a roundabout in the mix!) Creator Peter Gorman has made intersection maps of 68 cities, all of which he sells on Etsy. The work was inspired by a one-year, 11,000-mile solo bicycle trip around the U.S. and Canada. etsy.com/shop/BarelyMapsCourtesy of Peter Gorman

Waunakee just got a bit more stylish with the addition of Evie & Co. Boutique, a women’s clothing store opened by aunt-and-niece team Ashley Andersen and Sarah Bonk. This spot is for shoppers of multiple generations. Evie and Co. — which opened amid a pandemic — has an online shop, too. shopevieandco.comCourtesy of Evie and Co.

These lotion bars from Madison Soap Co. are so pretty you might be tempted to take a bite out of them. Don’t do that. But do roll one around in your hands to soak up Fair Trade shea butter, cocoa butter and essential oils. No preservatives here, since these lotions don’t contain water. “I find that regular lotions often sting my skin and don’t leave me hydrated all day like a lotion bar does,” says Laura Daly, owner of Madison Soap Co. madisonsoapcompany.comCourtesy of Laura Daly
